Another one is that boats cost a lot of money to keep raised for long and the new player might go bankrupt not realizing this. Another one is that the new player might not know how to call their fleets so that must be explained possibly. That is done by using the find title button in the lower right corner of the screen. There are some pitfalls here for new players that could be a problem if they aren't explained, like how to find Canarias on the map if you don't know where it is. These are all things you will want to learn how to do. They want you to take your huge army, put it on a boat, and crush the puny island with ease so you can see what happens when you attack, when you siege a castle, and when you win a war. I haven't played the tutorial so I don't know if it is well done, but they don't want you to fight against 3 or 4 allies and get crushed when you try to attack someone. It also gives you a chance to learn how to raise fleets to carry your troops. Nobody will ally up with them and stop it usually. If you can get the claim on it then you can conquer it. I would think that the reason the tutorial tells you to attack Canarias is because Canarias is independent and has very few troops. Canarias is the island down at the very left side of the map at the north of Africa.
